As a Hillary supporter, I congratulate Senator Obama.

This was a most impressive victory. I believe firmly that either of these two candidates will represent our party well in the general election against either Der Mittenfuhrer or John McInsane. Turnout was good and both candidates had roughly 80% say they would be satisfied if they were the nominees. 77% said that for Clinton and a higher 83% said that for Obama. For how nasty that was down there, you have to give credit to our Democratic electorate. They are a smart bunch. They know who the true enemy is.

I know it's gets pretty partisan around here, and I'm working on the Obama campaign so I'm definitely guilty of over-zealousness at times. But today I was canvassing door-to-door for Obama. Met a lot of undecideds who were torn between both him and Clinton. To a person, they said they'd be perfectly happy with either. That's the great thing about talking to voters. It puts things in perspective. The fact is that all 3 of our candidates would be capable leaders and a damn sight better than anyone on the other side of the aisle.

Now, back to brawling! ;)

I don't have a dog in this fight (Kucinich was my candidate), and it is refreshing to hear a supporter of one candidate congratulate the other candidate AND keep their eyes on the prize--to beat the repukes.
