21. Do you have that on a macro? You have posted the same statement
in several threads with absolutely no rhetoric to back it up.

The more Bill's been out front, the more you gotta wonder.

23. It sounded just like one, however
He congratulated the winner, admitted defeat, said the real vote would be on Feb 5, and then went on to boast about his accomplishments. After a while he mentioned his wife.

Betty Ford gave the concession speech when Jimmy Carter beat her husband in 1976. If I remember, Pesident Ford had lost his voice and couldn't speak.

37. Has a candidate ever brought up what someone's high school/college
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 09:13 PM by Auntie Bush
stance was before they even reached maturity and became socially aware and out from under her household influence? Before she's had a chance to get an education and think for herself. Hell, my Father was a small businessman and loved Nixon...well I did too...till I was old enough to see and know better. At least she has always been interested in politics and that's says something important and she should be complimented.. She hasn't just recently become involved with saving America, the poor and black. She alway has. Yes, Obama worked hard too.

By the way did you know that was a tongue in cheek comment about kindergarten and was so silly as to be absurd to be taken seriously or defended.

Edited to add to the much more to this post and make corrections.

27. I don't think using Bill this one time would be a problem...
...except for the fact that at this point, pretty much everyone is getting Bill fatigue.

It's one thing to have him rooting for her and making some campaign stops, but it seems like he's hogging

the spotlight and acting as a full-fledged proxy. Having him appear THIS MUCH makes it look like she

really can't stand on her own as a candidate.

In context of the last couple of weeks, it would have looked much better if she'd spoken herself.

Having Bill talk AGAIN may be the last straw for her candidacy. How tone-deaf is this woman?

for misleading viewers into believing that Tennessee rally was the concession speech.
NBC Nightly news ran with the lie too. ABC News gave a clip of Hillary's actual concession. This is the third thread on this here. Put the lie to rest already.
