I was real disappointed in voter turnout here in Georgia
My polling place was DEAD!!

I sure hope this isn't indicative of November's turnout.

turnout" in "Super Tuesday" compared to the earlier primaries. He alluded
that it's because Dems felt that Kerry was already the one with Momentum and had the Primary sewn up.

At least you got to vote. I'm NC here and Repugs screwed the Primaries so we will have "causcuses" (weird concept for NC) here in April (sometime) and not vote until JULY for Primary?

Hello! Terry McAuliff.....go F**k yourself buddy....I can't think of a foul enough name to call you for your mismanagement of the Dem Primary...but oooooo.....I know I'm one of "them" Commie/Pinko Leftists in the Dem Party....anyway. :-()

4. People lose interest in voting when the end results are known
Also, I think people in states where there is retail politicing, get more involved & excited, as in New Hampshire.

6. Well, you better hope this is not a portent for November!
People could be dropping out of the election process altogether.

8. Nah, it's just a few loose cannons that would do that
With a principled candidate like Kerry carrying our banner the excitement for him will be white hot in November.

in North GA, my wife and I were the only two voters in the building, I haven't heard how it went earlier in the day.

7. Front page of my local paper
"low voter turnout expected statewide"

Now I know the papers have to report the news but couldn't you have something less doom and gloom? Are they practicing reverse psychology?

11. Yeah
That probably explains the low turnout in California and New York too.

14. It's the "why bother?" effect
If the 'winner' has been pre-anointed, not much point in voting.
