29. All these events are documented...Unless you believe that AK is lying.
Bob Kerrey said this right after endorsing Clinton:

After the event, he mused about her chief competitor, Sen. Barack Obama.

"The fact that he's African American is a big deal. I do expect and hope that Hillary is the nominee of the party. But I hope he's used in some way. If he happens to be the nominee of the party and ends up being president, I think his capacity to influence in a positive way without spending a penny the behavior of a lot of underperforming black youth today is very important, and he's the only one who can reach them."

Kerrey continued, "It's probably not something that appeals to him, but I like the fact that his name is Barack Hussein Obama, and that his father was a Muslim and that his paternal grandmother is a Muslim. There's a billion people on the planet that are Muslims and I think that experience is a big deal." He added, "He's got a whale of a lot more intellectual talent than I've got as well."

He veered back to Clinton: "She does inspire my confidence. She can do the job. In my view she's the complete package." Kerrey was reminded that his 1992 bid for the Democratic nomination -- the year Bill Clinton won -- came two years into his Senate tenure, just like Obama. In retrospect, he said his lack of experience "turned out to be very important...I didn't win, you may have noticed." But he added, "Obama's got the sort of experiences that are much different from mine."

(Later he apologized)

A guy got fired from the Clinton campaign for spreading a "Obama is a Muslim" email. Well documented.

None of these events are vague except the AK claim which has not been documented by other sources. I'm trying to show a precedent for her phone call and I believe I have done just that.

7. Yes, but a systematic pattern requires accountability.
In the thread on the first page here, somebody is showing proof of a call where a CLinton campaigner brought this up yet again.

Allegedly, this is part of a web-based system where you can call ON BEHALF of Hillary, with 0 accountability.

It's fairly convenient to continually say "not our fault" if you setup systems that allow it...

The AtomicKitten link is not necessarily a fact but the above information support her contention.

17. Ok, Kerrey endorsed Clinton right?
Kerrey then went on to bring up such things as:

1.) noting her chief rival's name is "Barack Hussein Obama" and that Obama had Muslim ancestors.

2.) that his father was a Muslim and that his paternal grandmother is a Muslim

Are these things unrelated to the Clinton endorsement?

25. Kerrey made those comments long before he endored Hillary.
And has said he values what Obamas heritage bring to him politically. have you even read his full comments? I'm thinking "no"

27. He made these comments simultaneously on December 16th

You're going to have to provide a link if I'm wrong.

here's another link

On December 16, Kerrey announced his endorsement of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) for president. Following the official announcement, Kerrey said of Obama, "I like the fact that his name is Barack Hussein Obama, and that his father was a Muslim and that his paternal grandmother is a Muslim. There's a billion people on the planet that are Muslims and I think that experience is a big deal." On the December 17 edition of Hardball, Matthews read Kerrey's comments and asked during the segment, "What the hell is Bob Kerrey doing?"

and I'm on dial-up so web searching takes forever. :)

There are other articles...I looked into it when he endorsed Hillary. All the recent media coverage is the majority of what is easy to find on the major search engines, so it's tough to get to the earlier comments.

This is from October 30th:

There is a 19 minute audio interview of Kerrey talking about leadership. And they have excerpted part of his Obama comments on the page.

26. And because there is some history
it makes sense that anyone doing a dirty trick against her would use it too. Much more likely to be believed and have the desired effect that way.

Also consider this. Obviously there are some folks out there who do worry about Obama's background. It's a big country and all that - it even includes real racists. They sure as hell won't volunteer anywhere to help him get elected but some might volunteer their efforts to stop him from getting elected. And to do that they might sign up to help whoever has the best chance to stop Obama. There is no way to vet for secret motivations.

There are many possible scenarios. But anyone who always defaults to blaming Hillary for everything would be an easy mark to "game" with a campaign dirty trick used against her.

30. Who Benefits other than Clinton?
Obama and Edwards, not damn likely.

GOP, I highly doubt they would bother until the nomination was decided. Hillary inspires their base. Why thwart her?
