Kerry is right about Bill Clinton:
"being an ex-president does not give you license to abuse the truth"

Here's what the NYT stated in its endorsement of Hillary:

As strongly as we back her candidacy, we urge Mrs. Clinton to take the lead in changing the tone of the campaign. It is not good for the country, the Democratic Party or for Mrs. Clinton, who is often tagged as divisive, in part because of bitter feeling about her husband’s administration and the so-called permanent campaign. (Indeed, Bill Clinton’s overheated comments are feeding those resentments, and could do long-term damage to her candidacy if he continues this way.)

Bill has proven that he can be a liability instead of an asset to the Democratic Party. Days after the 2004 election, at the Clinton library inaugural, Bill pulled Rove aside and said:

"Hey, you did a marvelous job, it was just marvelous what you did"

Instead of using is megaphone to help expose election fraud and vote suppression, he congratulated Rove for giving us four more years of Bush.

Yay, Bush won by cheating!

We love Bill, he has high ratings! We don't care if he is secretive (against full public disclosure) and lies frequently.

1. Where's your proof that Clinton told Rove that? Sounds baseless to me.

2. "It was marvelous what you did -- it ensured that Hill can run in '08"
I don't buy the polls saying that Democrats "overwhelmingly" still like Bill. I think many of us have grown tired of him and just want to "MOVE ON".

3. Y'all are bringing a knife to a gunfight
Going directly after Bill Clinton in order to get to the nomination is going to result in quite some bitter, bitter disappointment for the Obamaniacs around here.

9. Your post title hooked me in.
Like many Democrats, I've had a lot of praise for Bill Clinton in the past. But no more. Bill is not the Bill Clinton I remember. Was I fooled then or has the man changed? I was ready to support Hillary, though she wouldn't have been my first choice (my candidate dropped out already), I thought she and Bill were both on the side of the Angels, so to speak. (Good Democrats.) Now, I'm so disgusted I'll probably leave the party outright. After eight years of hateful Republicans, I expected (and needed) better from my party.

10. Hi Unbowed.
Thanks. Don't give up on the party. Truth and integrity eventually win. If that wasn't true, the Republicans would have won big in 2006.

11. Hi ProSense, I hope you're right about truth and integrity.
They have both been in short supply as of late.
