Why wasn't Clinton standing up for Florida voters when it mattered?

It's amazing.

A classic example of Clintonian double standards. Hillary goes along with the shunning of Florida's primary plans. Now, suddenly, she is an ardent champion of the right of Florida voters to be heard and represented at the convention.

One can agree or disagree with either of her contradictory positions. But it's amazing that peoppe are condoning and enthusiastically embracing her Slick Hilly behavior.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Sept. 1 — Three of the major Democratic presidential candidates on Saturday pledged not to campaign in Florida, Michigan and other states trying to leapfrog the 2008 primary calendar, a move that solidified the importance of the opening contests of Iowa and New Hampshire.

Hours after Senator Barack Obama of Illinois and former Senator John Edwards of North Carolina agreed to sign a loyalty pledge put forward by party officials in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York followed suit. The decision seemed to dash any hopes of Mrs. Clinton relying on a strong showing in Florida as a springboard to the nomination.

“We believe Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina play a unique and special role in the nominating process,” Patti Solis Doyle, the Clinton campaign manager, said in a statement.....

1. Her duplicity will back fire in a big way.

Eventually, John Q. Public will start paying attention and what will they see?

A trend.

A trend of maneuvers by the Clinton's to seize power at all costs.

I really think the Clinton's are underestimating the sense of American voters. Their moves are very transparent. This bullshit with FLA is a prime example.

In the end, this will benefit Obama and maybe even Edwards. On both counts, that would be a damn good thing!

2. When Hillary went along with the shunning of Florida's votes, she

didn't know she would need them to win the nomination. Remember, her nomination was "inevitable." Or so she thought.

Now those votes are important. She may not be able to win without them. So of course she is suddenly an ardent champion of Florida's right to be heard! And Michigan -- she already won there because Obama and Edwards took their names off the ballot -- oh yes, Michigan MUST be heard!!!!!!

3. At least she is running ads in Florida and she didn't run ads in

Michigan like conyers and his wife did for the OTHER candidate....didn't hear anything about that tho did we..oh I know it was for the other candidate.
