Clinton’s Momentum Grows With Key Endorsements From Across Minnesota
Nearly 50 Leaders Endorse At Events In St. Paul, Duluth and Rochester
The Clinton Campaign today announced the endorsements of nearly 50 legislators and community leaders from across Minnesota.

"Hillary Clinton has the strength and experience to make change happen from her first day in office," said State Senate President James Metzen.

"Hillary has a detailed plan to jumpstart our economy and rebuild the middle class," said State Director Buck Humphrey. "She has not only a vision for America, but the ability to implement it."

"I am grateful for the overwhelming support I've received in Minnesota," Clinton said. "With the help of these local leaders, we'll continue to bring our message of change across the state over the next two weeks."

3. You know, I kinda wish candidates

would avoid padding their endorsement lists. I mean, I know all of them do it--Obama included--and I'm just as irritated when he does it and when Biden did it, so don't think I'm singling Clinton out here.

But really, does anyone really care what the UMN Duluth Women’s Hockey Coach thinks about the election? Was anyone clamoring for the opinions of the dozen "activists" that show up on each list? Members of school boards, wives of mayors, teachers? Hell, I was a assistant district chair (40-something A, I think) for two years when I lived in Minnesota; I believe the highlight of my career was sending some emails and co-signing some forms. I only now realize that it could have been my springboard onto a steering committee. Man. Such a wasted opportunity.
