I believe he is in Switzerland. He says in the interview that they have not yet crossed the line, will make us tougher for the election.

1. More...
He says it concerns him that the supporters are upset over the attacks, but not to the point of crossing the line yet.

When asked where the money would come from for the stimulus package, he said it would be added to Bush's huge deficit.

2. Nice scenery in the background...
...maybe the good doctor was on his way to the ski lodge when he did this interview.

3. I think it was at Davos.
He was stopping in another city to meet with Dems abroad there.

It is pretty scenery.

I disagree with him about the stimulus package. I am surprised he is ok with it. At least he says it adds to Bush's deficit.

I also disagree about the tension in the two campaigns. I think it is close to getting out of hand.

Trouble is how does he tell the former president to back off. How does anyone tell the former president to back off?

4. Here you go, I found a little more.
Nothing in the US media at all. Zilch, zero.

The former US presidential candidate visits the city of Calvin to meet with expat Democrats before heading to Davos.

"Howard Dean, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee in the United States, is paying a flying visit to Geneva today to meet with fellow Democrats. The 59-year-old doctor and former governor of Vermont was a candidate in the last American presidential campaign who created a stir with his ability to raise funds through the then-novel avenue of the Internet.

He has not yet indicated who he supports in this year's Democratic race, which has become a two-way fight between senators Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama. Dean’s visit is not open to the news media, said Caitlin Kraft Buchman, local president of Democrats Abroad, who refused to say where in Geneva he would be speaking. Another source indicated he would be appearing in a private residence and would be raising funds for the Democratic party from wealthy Americans living in Geneva. His visit comes two weeks before Americans in Switzerland vote on Feb. 5, known as “Super Tuesday.”

5. He says that though he is on guard and concerned about polarization
of supporters, he says the Republicans will spare no one in the general.

Says it has been a difficult time the last 8 years for all foreign countries....says there are only about 3 or 4 countries where America is viewed favorably.

People badly want America to change our attitude toward them.
