I will not let her disgrace Michigan citizens that way.

10. That has already been done. To give her delegates when she was the only candidate...
...on the ballot is entirely unfair and a further disgrace to our already disgraced primary.

My understanding is that the DNC always stated they might allow the Michigan delegates to vote
at the convention. If the other Dem candidates decided not to waste their energy campaigning in Michigan, that's their problem.

30. Campaigning was disallowed for ALL candidates in Michigan.
And most of them had enough respect for the disenfranchised Democrats of Michigan to remove their names from the ballots as well.

You really don't know much about what's going on, do you?

She simply left her name on the ballot. You seem to be extraordinarily biased in your interpretation of events.

13. The Democratic Party of Michigan disenfranchised their own voters...
They knew the rules. They voted for the rules. They knew the consequences of breaking the rules. They broke the rules anyway. Now, they have to suffer the consequences for breaking the rules.

18. She is the one who has played by the rules
She kept her pledge not to campaign in Florida. Edwards did also. Obama didn't. She is following all the rules here. It is up to the delegates at the national convention to decide which State Delegations get seated. That is in the rules. Hillary has not campaigned in Florida herself nor allowed for her campaign's TV ads to flood that state. She honored the pledge she took. Obama now has TV ads running that can be viewed by over 6 million Florida households.

17. she didn't have her name removed from the Michigan ballot because it was "unnecessary"
Clinton to keep name on Mich. ballot October 9, 2007 By TODD SPANGLER FREE PRESS WASHINGTON STAFF Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will remain a candidate in Michigan’s primary. Her campaign staff this afternoon confirmed she will remain on Michigan's Jan. 15 ballot, despite the fact that other candidates – Barack Obama, John Edwards, Bill Richardson and Joe Biden – have withdrawn. A spokesman said Clinton thought removing her name was unnecessary because she already has pledged not to campaign in Michigan because the state broke national party rules by moving its primary to Jan. 15.

24. Say good-bye to the Democratic party...
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 12:39 PM by TwoSparkles
The Clintons obviously want to play dirty, win dirty and they don't give a
flying fuck about the 65 percent of the Democratic party who does not
want Hillary Clinton as the nominee.

She's willing to stand up on the mountain and openly fuck us over seven
ways to Sunday.

Every Democrat not voting for her--who hopes for fair elections should be
out in the streets. Her supporters should be sitting her down and explaining
to her that she is alienating every single Democrat who didn't vote for her
during the primary. Without those votes in November, the Republicans win.

Is this what "35 years of experience" has brought us?

Beyond...the...pale...

I asked the question several days ago---why was Hillary on the Michigan
ballot and not Obama and Edwards????

38. They weren't on the ballot because they either took their
names off or never put them on. That's not Hillary's fault. She obeyed the rules. She did not campaign, no ads, nothing. The same as FL. Only in FL BO is filling the airwaves with ads. I don't hear you complaining about that, and that is what they agreed not to do. Obama is not truthful. We can do better vote Edwards or Hillary. Vote for honesty. At first I thought BO was just unseasoned but the more I see him strut, misspeak, look at his record the more I realize he may never have it. In fact he has alot of Bush's faux qualities.
