I was going to vote for the Dem nominee no matter what.
But if Hillary gets the nod it appears that I would have to compromise my principles and core beliefs to vote for her.

This is something I am not willing to do, no matter what the consequences.

If the republicans win, it will not be the fault of people like me, it will be Hillary's fault, she has gone down a path that a principled person cannot take.

20. A principled Democratic candidate...
...doesn't attack other Democrats as if she's running against a Republican!

Hillary has eviscerated Obama with lies, distortions and manipulations.

Don't blame people who don't like dirty politics---because Hillary Clinton
is causing disgust!

If she wanted Democratic judges sitting on the Supreme Court, she should have
thought of that before she treated 1/3 of our party like total shit!!

At least 30 percent of the Democratic party supports Barack Obama, and we
clearly see what she is doing.

It's not our fault, she's a ruthless, conscience-lacking, win-at-all-costs hack!

If she is our nominee, I will consider her candidacy a statement about what the
Democratic party has become.

No thanks!

Actually I go back and forth with this myself. I have voted Dem in every election I've ever been able to vote in, but I just don't know that I can support Hillary. :-( I won't actively campaign against her..but I have to at least respect the person I vote for and I just don't Respect HRC.

If you consider Hillary worse than the Republican candidate than I would say go with your principles....Regardless the voters are responsible for the outcome.

19. Yeah, good thinking ...
If enough people like you refuse to vote, you won't have to worry about "compromising your principles and core beliefs" - because a Republican president will compromise the principles and beliefs of our entire democracy.

But, hey, who's more important here? You, or your country and fellow citizens?

Apparently, you think it's you.

Of course you will get viciously beaten up around here. Thousands are reaching the same conclusion.
We have waited over seven years to rid our selves of a corrupt administration who in getting elected and re-elected was willing to use
the most despicable tactics to destroy two admirable Democratic candidates.

Now we are watching the Clintons use the same Rovian tactics and voter suppression to achieve victory.

I, too, will not "comprise my principles and core beliefs to vote for her."

28. I can understand your feelings
but if you didn't watch the GOP debate last night go try to find it and just watch a little. They make Hillary look like a saint. I may not agree with her on most things but she isn't them and yes, that is good enough reason to vote for whomever is nominated. Another 4 or 8 yrs of the GOP means saying goodbye to what is left of America.

32. That's a really stupid statement
It will definitely be the fault of people like you if Republicans win because you didn't vote. That, in a nutshell, is the problem with the dem party voters. You complain that our leaders are spineless, but you insist on electing and only voting for spineless leaders. You need to make up your mind -- do you want leaders that are capable of breaking some balls to advance our agenda, or do you want weak majorities of spineless dems in congress that are not capable of advancing our agenda?

33. Simple solution, recognize reality.
Not voting for the Dem nominee contributes to putting a republican in the White House, by withholding a vote that might make a difference.

35. i have a feeling
there will be all sorts of interesting third party candidates springing up. We had a chance to make real history with Obama. Hillary is the product of familial nepotism, and I had always wished the first woman president to have made a name for herself. This Bush/Clinton dynasty is sickening...and the fact that "we" as a party are enabling this is unfathomable. I just don't get it. Particularly since neither Bill or Hill have done anything but move the political spectrum to the right, with their unique brand of triangulation.
