Oh, Hey, About Those There Hispanics And How They Vote And Stuff
I don't know if anyone noticed, but you heard a lot about how hispanics voted in Nevada, but not too much on how they plan on voting in South Carolina.

I wonder why?

Maybe it's because Obama - yes, OBAMA (the black guy) - is leading (that would be getting more support) from hispanics by a margin of 53% to 17%.

53 to 17.

FIFTY THREE TO SEVENTEEN

Just thought I'd point that out.

1. That's a statistically insignificant sample. They are 1% of that poll's sample.
Nice try.

2. 1% of the sample---No wonder people get blown away with the polls including the IP.

4. The reason could be that Hispanics are 3.5% of the 4.2 million people.
Do the math: some 150,000 Hispanics (total-including children and non-citizens). Obama says he has them wrapped up,

6. Your question was why there was little talk about Hispanics in SC, wasn't it?
Maybe it's because of the very small Hispanic population which makes just about any polling about Hispanics statistically insignificant.

How many of those total 150,000 Hispanics are registered to vote and expected to vote tomorrow? Find that out and then use your numbers and see what you get. Hey they could swing a close election one way or the other.

7. My wife's parents are pretty typical first-generation-here hispanics, and like most hispanics
they mostly don't vote, or pay very little attention to politics. Even if they got their citizenship decades ago, and have never had a problem with the state or federal government, they're still afraid of the government and don't like the government noticing them at all.

As a result, to them, it's real simple: my wife's parents feel they were much better off during Bill's time in office, and being nostalgic, they want him back in the White House - and they even believe that if that happens, he'll be the one making all the decisions, not Hillary, because that's just how it's done in male-dominated cultures. So they're voting for Hillary because they see it as a vote for Bill.

They're not interested in listening to us talk about John Edwards at all.

And Obama's black, of course, not that they're overtly racist the way we think of it, but simply because coming from South America, they just don't trust American black men.
