Even Craig Crawford Admits this has Gone Too Far...alludes to Clinton/Obama Ticket
Anyone who watches MSNBC on a regular basis knows that Craig Crawford is a pretty steady and solid Clinton supporter...which is perfectly fine. But I was SHOCKED last night when he didn't become an apologist for how low the Clinton's have taken this fight with Obama. He even admitted that he felt like it would have been over by now. Anyone who can't see the fissure this is causing amoung DEMOCRATS simply isn't looking hard enough...or maybe you don't want to see it (though all you have to do is look on this site). He said there is a certain point of no return that the Clinton's are getting closer to, I disagree there...they've already passed the point of no return. They've already alienated a strong bloc of the Party with their antics and the tear is growing. CNN appears to be taking a more light-handed approach than MSNBC from what I saw, but the point is still the same. Crawford said the only reason the Clinton's may be keeping this up is because they know in the back of their minds that they have a quick fix in allowing Obama to become the VP nominee. Sort of the way JFK and LBJ made up and ran together...or Reagan and Bush. A lot of times when primaries become so disgusting and personal like this has become, the only way to patch things up is for the winner of the nomination to bring in the other guy to "kiss and make up."

I would not be surprised in the least if we end up with Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton. If not, there will be some serious backlash in the GE when large swaths of Dem voters sit 2008 out because they're not voting for Hillary Clinton.

4. Yeppers, those media whores joke about us at those high class politico socials.
The media whores on the M$M have zero respect for the average American.

Make nice now Craig? After all the nasty and unfounded snipes at Obama and propping up "your heroine" Hillary? NO. Take your medication Craig! But avoid ingesting too much of that Pain Relief dope for your foot ... you give too many tells when high on pain medication.

2. Craig Crawford is "anything but steady" and a shameless Clinton Shill.
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 10:37 AM by ShortnFiery
I've watched him, time after time, on Oberman's show SHAMELESSLY trashing Obama and propping-up HRC. Perhaps Craig wants to stay overnight in The Lincoln Bedroom?

No, I've lost all respect for Craig Crawford, who along with Joan Walsh (editor of Salon.com) are don't NOTHING but Hill-Shilling.

But if I'm wrong, correct me? I've not heard either party say ANYTHING positive about Obama.

SURE, now that all the damage is done, it's time for HRC's surrogates to pseudo-magnanimously request that we all "make nice." :eyes: Why? Precisely because they wish to avoid the BLOW BACK.

BULL SHIT!

6. VP
No way In Hell Hillary will pick Obama. She will want a DLCer.Hillary will most likely pick Evan
Bayh,or Tom Vilsack.I could see her also picking Ed Rendall.

I could see a sceniro where Obama picks her In order to unite the Party and to keep Bill Clinton
from saying more to hurt him.If not her I think Jim Webb,or Tom Daschle are the top candiates for
his VP.Both come from States Democrats have been losing and can help the Idea Obama wants to compete In places we haven't been trying too hard.Daschle could serve well as a attack dog for Obama. And Webb can help with excepernce and reaching out to non Democrats.

17. Keith ought to come up here and propose to Bill O'Reilly.
KEith has become a bore and his world's worst person list is over done. He used to be funny. And if I wanted to be in a choir I'd join a church.

Keith needs to step back from himself

21. Maybe the Obama as VP is intended to boost the Clinton black vote in
SC. Then later on the Clintons will say "We'd love to put a black man on the ballot, but whites won't vote for him."

18. I disagree with ALL the darn talking heads on this one!
Did you watch TDS last night? Or listen to Lionel on AAR? Both of them made fun of ALL the media who have used phrases as "She broke down and cried". "Bill LOST it with a group of reporters", "Hillary viciously lashed out at Obama", "Obama violently struck back at Hillary", The GLOVES are OFF!". All of those are such gross exaggerations, I don't even have a word to describe them! The media has been looking for a fight for so long, they're making them up now! I've gotten so sick of the overstatements, I'm close to reducing my TV news viewing to Olbermann ONLY!

DON'T let the media con you so easily!
