Did you see Bernstein on AC360?
Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 10:21 PM by JackORoses
He just revealed the Clinton Machine for what it is.

He says he has never seen so many friends of the Clintons upset with the former President.
People who've been their supporters for years are questioning their tactics, who think they're only interested in getting themselves back into the White House.

Bernstein was telling it like it is.

See it if you can.

1. When you run for President isn't that what you are supposed to be
interested in? Clinton haters come in all stripes. Some were even former cabinet members and advisors. It's insane to me.

2. "Clinton haters come in all stripes."
They are long term friends of the Clintons.

3. You have to prove it to me that were long-term "friends."
Some may have been "hanger-ons." I never did trust Begala.

4. Yeah, the media tells you what to think
And we all know Carl hasn't made a career of smearing Clintons, right? People just hate Bill Clinton, which is why his approval rating is still in the high 60's. But Carl sez "people" are questioning his tactics. Is that like the favorite right wing Fox News phrase "some people say" while never naming who those some people are? Notice Carl didn't name a single name. But by all means, let the media tell you what to think if that's the best alternative you have. I prefer thinking for myself.

7. The Clintons care about nothing except their own power
They have no grand ambitions for the country (well except passing more NAFTA-like free trade deals perhaps and invading Iran.) Bill and Hillary just want the W.H. back for the prestige and power and so they can be in the spotlight again, which they can`t stand not being in.
