just got slammed, er, I mean tabled by a vote of 60 to 34. The usual suspects voted the usual way. And did Leahy just espouse LIHOP? This is what he said:

"They had the information and they could have stopped the terrorists and they didn't. So, let's not act in fear."

1. Has Leahy ever alluded to this before? I was shocked to hear

him say that so plainly.

he has alluded to it before on the call in show he does regularly on VPR, but I've never heard him say it on the Senate floor.

60-34. Even with my poor mathematical skills, it tells me that a flock of Dems voted with the Repugs...again..and some didn't even bother to vote.
