Hillary "lied" about Obama's Reagan statement - debunked by Daily Howler
It appears MSM is now uniform enough in its defense of Obama that debunking is needed:

http://www.dailyhowler.com/dh012308.shtml
"Clinton made it abundantly clear. She had been talking about Statement 2. She hadn’t mentioned Reagan, she (accurately) said—she had criticized Obama’s statement about the ideas of the past 15 years. But so what? Playing it dumb—and getting applause—Obama continued defending his statement about Reagan, even after Clinton reminded him that she hadn’t challenged that statement."

2. So are you saying that Obama took liberty with her statement?

What kind of a Democratic candidate would do such a thing?

Heh. Serves her right. He beat her at her own game. It's just too bad that she set that tone for the election.

7. DH is not attacking Obama for his equivocation. Just the MSM for lying.
Daily Howler is about MSM - not specific candidates. Just happens MSM lies for Obama these days. Not his fault either.

8. Did you read the whole article? Don't you wonder why MSNBC and
the MSM in general are so busy promoting Obama, ignoring Edwards, and out and out lying about the Clintons?

Are you really that naive?

11. Hillary said Obama said the Repubs. had GOOD ideas. That's false.
She backtracked by the end of the exchange saying he MEANT they had good ideas.

12. Bob himself is playing dumb here
Hillary said that Sen Obama said the republicons had good ideas ("he has said in the last week that he really liked the ideas of the Republicans over the last 10 to 15 years") and Sen Obama responded by denying that assertion ("You just said that I complimented the Republican ideas. That is not true"). He then goes on to discuss what he said about Reagan to contextualize what he was saying. And Bob, who has been exceedingly kind to Sen Clinton throughout this primary season, takes her side.
