Help me debunk my own prediction!
This is it:

1.Hillary or Obama is the Democratic Nominee
2.Bloomberg runs as an independent (or even if he doesn't)
3.On the repub side, Romney gets the nomination.
4.The neocons and the media put everything behind Romney, a candidate shallow enough to be a good replacement for Smirk (McCain would probably be too much trouble: he supports the war, but he opposes torture).

November 2008, general election:
1.Romney wins.
2.The neocons are still in place,
3.The democratic Congress still does nothing
4.BushCo is never accountable for anything..not even a downturn in the economy or a spiraling debt, not to mention the massacres of more than a million Iraqis and 4000 Americans, and the confetti-ing of the US Constitution.

I am not sure the country (Midwest?South?) is ready for Obama or Hillary. Romney is empty and good looking: this pleases the lowest common denominator, plus he'll have the press behind him.
I am not that pro-Edwards, but it seems that strategically, voting for Edwards would be the first step to avoiding this nightmare scenario.
I am a Kucinich supporter.

Please, please, tell me that my prediction is totally impossible and bogus!!

That is exactly what is happening, except for this change

1.Hillary/Obama is the Democratic Nominee
2.Bloomberg runs as an independent (or even if he doesn't)
3.On the repub side, Romney/mcain gets the nomination.
4.The neocons and the media put everything into making this a high school (ie name calling dirty popularity contest) so that the people never wake up and realize that we could vote for someone who is electable and outside the system.

November 2008, general election:
1.hillary/obama/Romney/mcain wins.
2.The neocons are still in place,
3.The democratic Congress still does nothing
4.BushCo is never accountable for anything..not even a downturn in the economy or a spiraling debt, not to mention the massacres of more than a million Iraqis and 4000 Americans, and the confetti-ing of the US Constitution.

changes were made because "they" can buy more then one candidate and because the people need the illusion of choice.

*edit, wanted to flesh out some other areas.

2. I Kind Of Am Thinking The Same Way... I Am An Edwards Supporter...
my views are more liberal like Kucinich... and Clinton & Obama and going to SCREW IT UP Big Time!!

And as I've said before... Beware Of What You Wish For... Democrats...

In reality, Edwards of the three would be the best choice... LOGICALLY... IMHO!

4. Vote EDWARDS!! For the win. AND he's the best candidate.
It's a no-brainer.

5. Not a bad prediction
here's my take:

HRC or Obama- yup, definitely.

No independents if Paul doesn't

Romney OR McCain- McCain caved on on the MCA of 2006 after making big noises. That means he's pliable enough for Bushco.

Neocons are playing both sides of the table. Our 3 tops will do what they want, so they don't really care if we win this year.

Romney may or may not- I think it will be one of the 4 I listed, although there is a slim chance of Edwards or Huck getting it.

Neocons aren't going anywhere. We'll need to have a mass hanging to fix that problem.

Dem Congress may get outed by Neocons with Diebold...although Reid and Pelosi have been so uninspiring that it may happen anyway. I predict a Repub takeover, but only bare margin.

Bushco will never get nailed for spending 10 trillon+ dollars to steal 20-30 trillon in oil from the mid-east. As George Carlin said "Don't look for it, it's never going to happen"

So no, some tweaks, but overall your prediction is good. Too bad for us.

6. I cannot tell you that, because
it is highly likely that is how "the script" has been written by the MSM already. It's probably just exactly how things will play out.

7. It can happen only if the DLC handlers fuck up another campaign
and promise us nothing but business as usual: getting screwed.

Unless the Democrats are willing to talk to their party's working class base, they're going to have another close election that will be easy to steal.
