Hillary is just NOT Bill
Bill Clinton was well respected and had plenty of charisma. People liked him and was well received in other countries. Hillary on the other hand lacks what Bill had. She would probably make a good manager, CEO of Microsoft perhaps but doesn't have what it takes for President.

A Gore/Obama ticket would be great too. IMO Gore is the only person with the stature and vision to lead this country and world through the scary times ahead.

9. She is a ball buster...but she's not inspirational...
Being a hard ass doesn't necessarily translate into stellar leadership.

I want someone who plays fair and brings out the best in people---and inspires
Democrats and Republicans to get the job done. Hillary won't do that.
Republicans will never work with her. They hate her.

Hillary is a ball buster, but we just experienced several years of Bush
governing that uses similar tactics.

I want a dignified, inspirational, positive leader--not someone who polarizes
our government further and can't get anything done because of these brash,
strongarm tactics.

It's just not appealing. Our nation can do better.

24. My assessment...
...is that she's in a bad mood when she's not winning.

She knows she's going to lose big in North Carolina.

After seeing Edwards' stellar performance tonight, it would not surprise me to see
her come in third.

She is like an angry wasp when everything isn't going her way. She acts as
if she is entitled to this Presidency and that Obama is the spoilsport who
is standing in her way.

She came off like a real jerk tonight.

12. Hillary has plenty of supporters
and she certainly inspires me. In fact, I like her better than Bill hands down. No, she doesn't have his charisma, I will concede that, but she is very intelligent and she's one of the most interesting figures in modern politics (love her or hate her). Personally, I do find her engaging when she speaks but I can see why some wouldn't like her style. Still, what a breath of fresh air compared to Bush speaking.

20. good point about Bush, but Hillary puts me to sleep and I don't
find her inspirational. I would like her to shorten her responses, less policy wonk and more people friendly. Kind of similar to a patient asking a doctor to explain a medical condition to a lay person. She gets too caught up in the minutia of the issue being discussed. She drags her responses out with many words that aren't necessary to get her point across. In short she is too wordy. Knowledgeable she is.

10. Agreed.
I keep saying exactly what you're saying. People love Bill b/c hes not afraid of mingling with the crowd and talking to them for hours. You can tell he really enjoys people and they really enjoy him. He will go into the crowd and cuddle/snuggle a black baby and look as if he loved that baby with all his heart. Clinton had that charm. Hillary doesn't. She comes across as cold and calculating, something that won't inspire many new votes in the GE.

I can't stand Bill! But, Hillary is not my candidate, I just respect her more than Bill. It is disturbing though to see how truly narcissistic he is, it says something about Hillary, either her ego is just as big or exactly the opposite, I don't know, I'm not a psychiatrist.

Either way, Bill Clinton embarrasses me!

She rode Bill's coattails into her very first elected office: United States Senator from New York.

Now she is trying to ride them into the White House.

I'd much prefer somebody who has made it on their own to somebody who started on third base thanks to something their spouse has done.

38. Bill (of the 1990s) is just NOT Bill now.
We've recently seen sides of Bill Clinton that are FAR from Presidential. He's a grasping, petty behaving man - not all that unlike Rove in his smears of his wife's contenders.

There will be little to no controlling this man if his wife gets elected. I fear for our country because it will be BILL CLINTON's DLC who will staff the lion's share of the Executive Branch Positions. The will continue with media consolidation and welfare reform, but the only people who will be "cashing in" are the ELITES (investors with over $300,000 accumulated wealth). The rest of us little people will be *screwed.*

Wake up and smell the B.S. ... it's all about corporate power and guess who's on the board of WalMart?!? :(
