crap? I've heard Bay Buchanan state this this morning on WJ, Laura Ingraham spouted it off yesterday on one of the Sunday chatter shows, some of the RW callers on WJ have been lamenting the timidity of the RW politicians.

Because the RW has been so strident over the past several years, we have arrived at the current state of affairs we have. Are they trying brainwash the public to believe they are being picked on now.

1. Victimhood=the mantra of the Republican party
This IS the mantra of these people.

They play on the victimhood of their voters:

you're a victim of runaway government

you're a victim of activist judges

you're a victim of taxation

you're a victim of the liberal media

you're a victim of christian prejudice

you're a victim of jack booted government thugs

you're a victim of government designed to take away your guns and 2nd amendment rights

you get the idea....

2. This is as funny as "conservativeunderground.com!"
When you control the country (WH, Congress, Majority of governors and state legislatures, courts, businesses), why do you need an underground?

LOL!

3. Yeah but that is a very successful delusion
It keeps the base all fired up and working hard. The problem is that, by their standards, President Bush hasn't been very convservative (for God's sake, he had dinner with Senator Kennedy).

Conservatives don't really understand how Government works, and kind of expect President Bush and the Republican congress to impose conservatism by fiat, i think.
