Bill Clinton on Huckabee: "he is a very good man"
"We don't agree on much, but he is a very good man," Clinton said of Huckabee, noting they had both worked on programs to combat obesity.

Huckabee equates homosexuality with bestiality.

2. To be honest with you, I think Huckabee is what Bush pretends to be
I pretty much disagree with him on EVERYTHING he stands for. I'm staunchly anti-religion, and anti-conservative, but I believe he BELIEVES in what he says. I think Bush is all about applause lines and scoring points whereas Huckabee is more genuine.

Sue me, that's how I see it.

10. I agree, but
I wouldnt say i disagree with everything he stands for, just the social stuff. He did some things in Arkansas that were, at least, vaguely agreeable.

3. lol ...
Clinton has always been somebody who talks to both sides.

I agree with him ... Huckabee does seem to be an overall good guy.

No man is defined on one issue or one stance.
I know men out there who are racist on the surface -- racist to all of their friends -- but would do anything for anybody if it came down to it.

People are not one-dimensional.
And if we plan to make progress in this very diverse, very human country of ours -- then we're going to have to talk.

W.

7. That sounds quite a bit like "good, moral" person to me!
Which is what Obama has referred to evangelical Christians as, and was soundly slammed for here last night.

12. Didn't Bill say that Bush was a "good man" too
or something like that?

When he opened his library in the middle of the 2004 campaign?
