"On the eve of Martin Luther King Day, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton snagged an endorsement Sunday from Dr. Calvin O. Butts III, the influential pastor of the Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem.
As Dr. Butts stood in the frigid air outside the church on West 138th Street, off Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, he extolled Senator Clinton’s “experience, ability, respect and character.”
“This is no time for waiting or hoping for solutions,” he said, in what seemed like a swipe at the campaign of Senator Barack Obama, Senator Clinton’s chief rival for the Democratic nomination, whose autobiography is titled “The Audacity of Hope.”
In his brief remarks, Dr. Butts, who is black, also seemed to anticipate criticism that he is somehow betraying his race by not supporting Senator Obama, who is also African-American.
This “is not a race-based decision for me, and I hope it’s not a race-based decision for you, either,” he said to about 80 boisterous Cllinton supporters".

He's got his opinions; I don't know them, and I'm too busy with my own life to really look at any candidate in-depth anymore.
