Which is worse: corporations or corrupt despots?

Been thinking about the news that so many US companies are being bailed out or outright sold to foreign interests. Just because it's done in a 'free market' environment in a 'democracy', how is it that different from a tin pot dictator selling off his countries natural resources while pocketing most of the money? These corporate rat bastards and their shareholders care no more for their employees (natural resources) or their country than Idi Amin, Ferdinand Marcos, or Pol Pot did for their oppressed nations. Every time I hear such corporate pirates spouting how patriotic they are and how they are a product of the American Dream, I want to puke.
