5. My dad used to chat with him when he worked at Northeastern

I used to see him around from time to time. I actually almost ran over him in my minibike in Brookline one day - that was funny.

4. I heard an excellent interview with him,
I believe it was C-SPAN on my XM. My favorite part was when someone asked him about the Sunday morning political talk shows, and his advice was to tune them out.

6. C-Span Interview
I also caught his interview on CSPAN.
I was impressed not just by his breadth of subjects, but his ability to candidly diagnosis the current political landscape as he sees it.
He sounded more in-touch than some of our top tier candidates.
Then again, he has alot less to lose these days than in '88.

7. I campaigned hard for him in '88. He's a good, decent man, with more
intellect and a grasp of the issues that no top tier candidate today has. It really shocked me how he got trounced on election day.

9. Confirmed: He's at UCLA.
My son knows him, so I sent him this thread and he emailed back that he spoke with Dukakis just last week. He said "he lives in LA and teaches at UCLA every winter from January - March. He teaches a class at the School of Public Policy."
