Did Fred Thompson go on early, and hold a press conference for the sole purpose of saying NOTHING? It was like he mocked the press. He starts off with a drop out speech and ends it with.... NOTHING? WTF?

9. For me, it was more a mixture of revulsion and pity. No, wait...
...it was just revulsion. :puke:

5. You could hear the staff at MSNBC erupt into laughter
I thought I heard a few WTFs coming from behind the camera where Olberman and Matthews had just cut someone off a few minutes before to go to Fred's big announcement.

6. His inner actor is always bursting to come out,
and he always ends up giving a lousy performance. Poor Fred needs a nap.

8. But this country is the greatest country that ever existed..
in the history of countries, by every measure known to man. And all because of conservative leadership. I guess the letters FDR don't mean anything to the idiots in his audience. Patriotism is the last bastion of criminals and losers, as Thompson just proved.

10. Was it an interview? I'm looking at what I THINK is a live feed from Thompson's
HQ in SC, (there's no sound, though) and it appears as though it's set up (podium and all) for him to address his supporters.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?
