Say what you will about the Clinton's but Bill is really standing by his woman! I have to hand it to him. (I just heard that quote on MSNBC by Russert about going door to door to win SC AA vote).

7. if he showed up at my door....
... I'd invite him in for a beer. Cliched, but honestly, I'd enjoy that. I like Bill. I don't like Hillary and wouldn't vote for her, and I'd have to be honest about that. Hopefully he'd still enjoy the beer.

6. She needs to win South Carolina to get the nomination, imo.
Hillary is losing support among African American voters. If she doesn't turn that around, I think that Obama will win the southern primaries and probably the nomination.

I don't have a dog in this fight. I'll vote for the Democratic nominee. My preferred candidates have dropped out or are polling at 1%. My favorite viable candidate at this point is Edwards, and he's losing ground. So now I watch to see what the two front-runners will do...

18. No she doesn't need to win SC. She just needs to place second.
And based on who SC has voted for in the past, a loss to the would be a mark of distinction.

25. no way, she could lose sc and win no problem. people can totally understand...
that African Americans are more likely to vote for barack, and with 50% of registered democrats in SC being AA it would make sense for him to win there even if she still has an ok amount of AA support in other places.

His actions recently have shown me that; he's begging people to vote for Hillary because HE wants it so bad.

Can you even imagine what that would be like? WOW! My digital camera is always out and ready, and I would not wash my hands for A WEEK after shaking his hand! Hell, I didn't wash my hands for 3 days after shaking Deans hand when he was here several years ago!

I'm sure they'll welcome him, but their loyalty will be with Obama for now. It will help Clinton in the end though, as far as encouraging voters to show up to the polls should she become the nominee.
