1. Well, we'll eventually see if it's best for the country, won't we?
It damn well better be.

2. No gloating, please.
It doesn't help. Edwards supporters are well aware of what happened today.

3. Yeah. We wouldn't want a populist running as the Democratic candidate.
That would upset big business.

13. The word around here is that we're going Un-Committed in the unlikely
event that our caucus group isn't large enough.

14. Really? Considering that 80 percent of the "Edwards should quit" threads are from
Obama supporters as their authors.

Be fair, and your post was not.

17. Exactly. Obama supporters expect Edwards supporters to go their way,
if Edwards drops out. You don't expect the populists to support the business candidate, do you?

9. Bush supporters were also proud when they won
By all means, enjoy yourself. After all, winning is much more important than what's best for the country.

16. Check the Edwards forum.
Several other posts at DU report that Edwards supporters were turned away, and not given a chance.

At one location, the person forgot to even ask about Edwards, and they had to shout "What about John Edwards?"

I'm sure we'll know more soon...

neither of those candidates will be allowed to win. And both have too much fear and respect for the GOP to fight for it.
