Suprise: Clinton carrying Paris Las Vegas, 2 to 1
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 03:44 PM by ruggerson
"What happened to the Culinary at Paris Las Vegas? With final caucus tallies are being added up, it’s 203 for Clinton, 90 for Obama and four for Edwards.

This is a major surprise, given the Culinary’s vaunted clout. Sun reporters at other of the eight Strip at-large locations say Obama is carrying the day."

1. Someone should ask Bill about voter intimidation.

6. Just because Hillary is winning does not mean voters were not intimidated -

I dont care who wins - voter intimidation is never right even if it did not change the outcome.

7. Exactly
We've got to have 1 person, 1 vote ---> in private.

3. Hey, so I guess that the unfounded, dirty tricks of the Clinton campaign...
paid off. But do you really want congratulations for that?

4. Actually the Culinary's membership IS fractured
Lots of resentment there, since the membership wasn't consulted for the endorsement. Some of the voting may reflect that.

There may have been some intimidation, though, because the caucus system does open things up for that. And the voting may be a major rebellion.
