Poll question: I Present, For Your Consideration, Two Options --
Option A - the candidate of your choice (either Clinton, Obama or Edwards) gets the nomination, but in the process we lose the Senate and House to the Republicans.

or

Option B - the candidate you like the least (either Clinton, Obama or Edwards) gets the nomination, but in the process we pick up more seats in the Senate and House.

Which option do you prefer?

1. By we I guess you mean Democrats
I couldn't answer this poll. I am so angry at most of the Democrats I really don't want either option.

What I want are honest people who will get us out of this war and help the economy. I can't convince myself anymore that that is what the Democrats will do.

2. This election is about expanding our hold on the House and Senate.
The Presidency is ours.

I know who has the coattails.

4. Depending on who we nominate, we can have both. By that, Republican
cross overs to the presidential nominee may vote for (D) down ticket. If we choose the wrong one, then that will have a negative effect down ticket.

Two of the three frontrunners have the promise of getting cross over voters. One, has a polarizing effect.

Think before you vote.

5. that wasn't the question though
this is actually a test of priority.

Do you (or anyone) think it's more important to have one of these three with a Dem congress, or would you rather have YOUR candidate and a Republican congress.

10. it's important, obviously, to have Dems in the WH and Congress. Most likely,
it will be one of those three. There is disagreement that each of those three have a shot at winning.

It would make it easier for the Dem Congress to have a Dem in the WH because the Dem leadership continues to demonstrate that they cannot stand up to the opposition party when they are in the minority or the majority.

6. if we want to return the presidency to a time before
the notion of a ''strong president'' began to haunt us -- then control of the house and senate is more important.

7. I voted B, but it depends.
Is the candidate I like the least guaranteed to win in the GE? If so, then B it is.

8. That's a very good point.
I voted "B" to. But I don't think my second choice candidate has a chance in the general election.
