Obama is neither Brilliant, nor a closet GOPer so stop saying that...

It was just a gaffe folks... and while it may give us some insights into the busy mind of Obama, it does little more than that.

I don't think Obama prefers Reagan to Clinton...

Nor, is it some brilliant strategy to deflect criticism...

It was a gaffe and a pretty bad one for primary voters.

And while I am no Obama booster, I think there is a very good chance he will be on one slot of the ticket or the other so it's a good thing he gets the experience of screwing-up now. I don't treasure the thought of a Kitty Dukakis moment in a debate costing us the General Election. At least, I have the audacity to hope not...!

But no doubt this post will drop as it has a note of rationality... something in short supply during the primaries.
