Romney hit a grand slam with his victory speech
I am multitasking between this and our terrible debate right now, but I just have to say, and I am a far left democrat who will never vote for Romney, that he hit his victory speech out of the ballpark. It was almost as good as Obama's Iowa's victory speech

1. Nobody thinks so?
I thought it was infinitely better than this democratic snoozefest so far. Stop with the softballs, MSNBC!!

2. Didn't see it, but I can't imagine there was much to it. He blows.
Is he pro-choice or pro-life today? To the left of Kennedy or to the right of Reagan?

3. I'm only glad he won for the fact that it
keeps the Repukes in disarray...Grampa and Rudi think they're still in it!

Didn't see the Romney speech...I'll try to catch it later.

Mittens gave an inspired, impassioned speech? You must've been playing a drinking game during it.

7. I thought it was a good speech
Edited on Tue Jan-15-08 09:46 PM by cmaff05
It was well presented, it was inspiring, he got the crowd involved. I don't agree with Romney on any of the issues (obviously, I'm a far left democrat), but I thought it was one of the better victory speeches I've seen.

20. I thought it was utter crap
Edited on Tue Jan-15-08 11:12 PM by fujiyama
I didn't find it inspiring in the least. Comparing it to Obama's is laughable.

To each their own.

15. *bangs head*
How says I love the GOP? I hate their guts and everything they stand for. I just thought Romney's speech was pretty good. It could vault him to the top of the Republican race, ala Obama's Iowa speech.

14. Well
It was certainly more exciting than this debate so far.

I'm not sure if that means Romney's speech was that good or the debate has been that bad :(

16. McCain is the most lethal candidate on their side. I'm glad he went down tonight.
This stirs the pot and now might even let Rudy win Florida adding still another dimension to their confusion. I'm happy with this tonight.

18. "I am a far left democrat who will never vote for Romney,"....
...if you are far left, there should be no need to say you wouldn't vote for that cyborg. That would be a given.

19. I thought Mittens' religion speech had some good elements and was well-delivered.
I didn't see him tonight. He can deliver a speech better than McCain, that's for sure--did you see McCrazy's NH victory speech? Awful disconnected mishmash of BS.
