Great news from this new Quinnipiac poll for Hillary. Florida is not warming up to Obama. And trust me, the Sunshine state has A LOT of delegates.

So yes, it is clear, unless the Clintons pull some shenanigans and try to seat the delegates.

He's incredibly stubborn. He was my guv for 11 years. I know. If you think he'll give in to pressure from the Clintons, think again- or from pressure from Nelson. He'll just dig in.

Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 03:04 PM by IndianaGreen
They will lose the committee vote, and then they will have to take the issue to the floor of the convention and let the delegates vote on the issue. I doubt that any of Obama and Edwards' delegates will vote to seat Hillary's Florida and Michigan delegates.

Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 03:21 PM by JackORoses
as of now, Yes, this is the definitive fact,
the Ballots have been taken away by the DNC.

You are hoping that there is enough pressure to force Party Officials to reverse this decision.
This is just your opinion, and that is by no means definitive.

29. They better not be. They can't seat just Florida since
MI broke same rules and both were stripped.

In Michigan the ballot only has Clinton, Kucinich and Gravel. They all agreed not to compete here and remove their names but Kucinich's request got in too late and Clinton changed her mind.

The governor, ex governor and one of the senators have all publicly said vote for someone on the ballot or don't vote. (They do support Clinton)
There is a line on the ballot that says "Write in" but the amusing thing is that if you write in any name it won't count.

Even if we support Clinton this is crazily unfair and should never be allowed to count.

33. Seems like matter-of-fact corrections. Florida doesn't have delegates.
The state went against the party, and the party voted to punish the state's voters. It is what it is.

won't count is living in an alternative universe. The party will not allow a floor fight over the seating two large states needed for the November election. They will be seated but Mr. Dean may not keep his.
