We cannot trust these National Polls
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 08:39 PM by hnmnf
A slew of national polls came out today and it is clear why we cannot trust them. Besides the fact that polls may have royally fucked up in NH, these polls are all over the spectrum. I mean the WaPo poll has it at a five point lead, while ARG has it a 20 point lead. Thats a big difference between five points and 20 points. Not to mention, these national polls really are not useful until after SC. After that, there is no state that enjoys its own primary day, and then we can really see how February fifth could play out with these national polls.

3. Yup... Besides, They are All Corporate Sponsored
If there is anything I have learned the last several years, it is that one should not trust polls, especially those sponsored or funded by corporations.

7. Not entirely "all over the spectrum" when one candidate (Hillary) leads them all. /nt

8. Maybe not entirely, but a 5 point lead that is actually within the MOE is way different than a 20..
point lead.

10. Well, that is correct.
And we've certainly had enough evidence so far this year that polls have become far from reliable in the fluid situtation of this year's primaries.

11. no shit! you don't say! when did you figure this out?
i have said this all along. even the pollsters have their agenda & it has nothing to do with you or me. they have a candidate they want to see elected for reasons known only to them. i don't trust ANY polls and i tune them out. they are simply trying to sway the election.

12. They ceased being accurate when some became poltical.
We should just view them on the same level as astrology.

13. I think astrology
is better able to predict than corporate-motivated push polls.
