Why do these primaries seem to be all about Dems attacking each other?
Any thoughts on why this is? Why do we spend millions & millions just so candidate A can attack candidate B or C or D,E or F?
I mean, come on, its not like we agree with everything the * administration of the past 8 years has done. Shouldn't this time really allow the Dem party to have a real discussion about what we want for the future? Something more vague than "hope" or "change" ? Something to inspire the votes?
I see candidates outline their plans and quite honestly, I don't see much difference between the top three,so basically it's come down to personalities over issues.
Seems to me we are wasting a lot of money and time arguing over....well, you tell me.
I think its way past time for publicly financed campaigns so everyone can find out where the individual candidates stand on the issues. It should be about fair and real debates, not the media/party controlled farces we currently are getting.
We could do so much more...but it involves us getting our shit together and from what I've observed over the years, its just a lot easier to snipe at each other & tear down than it is to come together. We aren't going to get anything better unless we demand better- starting with our own candidates.
In the meantime, while we're occupied sniping at each other over the details it makes it that much easier for repubs,et al, to push through their agendas....
Just some thoughts.....DR
