That's rather low, isn't it? Not to mention wacky.

4. That Axelrod blamed Clinton's decisions for Bhutto's death.

11. Nonsense
The IWR resulted in US attention being diverted from Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and Pakistan to Iraq. Democrats have said so for years now. It was a wrong turn. It's was disastrous policy. In the course of the occupation of Iraq, violence worsened and terrorists strengthened in Afghanistan and Iraq and Pakistan. In this context of a far less stable region since we invaded, Bhutto's was murdered. Congress granting that force authorization, whether individuals wanted an invasion or didn't, legitimized a foreign policy that has had horrendous results, only one of them Bhutto's death. Clinton takes responsibility for her IWR vote, but that has to include what's resulted.

12. You know that there was no reason to politicize Bhutto's death.
If you are going to make that stretch, you need to blame Obama for failing to stop the war.

13. I don't blame Clinton for failing to stop the war
So why would I blame Obama? Getting out of a war is way harder than getting into one. That's why it should never be anything but the last resort in the first place.

I think he did.

22. going from memory of coverage on CNN
it was while I was at my mother's for the holidays. Was transfixed by the Bhutto coverage. If I recall the statement per Axelrod occured within one or two days after her assassination. I heard both the accusation and the distancing in the same news item on TV. It was one of those walking through the room - hear the charge - think wtf?! - walk back in to watch/hear and then get the Obama statement on it. I would venture to bet if you go back and search CNN about two days after the assassination, they would probably have the item online.

24. By the time I heard of it - it was already a nonissue
and I am not invested enough in any of the candidates to get as riled up on this from either direction. I'll let folks like yourself do all of the intraparty battling.

19. Link to quote inside.
http://thepage.time.com/axelrod-on-bhutto-assassination/

Bhutto’s death will “call into issue the judgment: who’s made the right judgments,” Axelrod said. “Obviously, one of the reasons that Pakistan is in the distress that it’s in is because al-Qaeda is resurgent, has become more powerful within that country and that’s a consequence of us taking the eye off the ball and making the wrong judgment in going into Iraq. That’s a serious difference between these candidates and I’m sure that people will take that into consideration.”

20. Thank you, but how can anyone reading that quote claim it is blaming Clinton
for Bhutto's assasination.

Wasn't Clinton just sliming Obama with that one? Looks like it to me.
