Do you believe Clinton knew nothing about Marc Rich's pardon, as
she claims? I thought she was so involved in Bill's admin, so why the ignorance?

4. Well, sure, we know there are a few topics that were never addressed
until he got caught. But she shouldn't be hitching her star to his wagon so much if she wasn't involved.

8. The only way I would feel safe against a Hillary Presidency
is if she were strapped to a portable lie detector 24/7.
Or at least when she is addressing the public.

9. Note wiki from '05?! I thought MRich ended as a non-issue.
There was inference that he had helped effect M.E. peace and was thanked by Israelis as well. In part for his help and possible risk goes the inference: he was pardoned of crime, but still had to pay the taxes.

I'm wondering if there was a wiki article that has been deleted. 2005 is awfully late considering this happened in 2001 and was highly contentious. Especially interesting since his lawyer had been a high Republican, who, later is convicted of perjury and pardoned by a Republican before he would be compelled to testify against Republicans. Rich on the other hand was not needed to testify against any Democrats.

He helped our country, he earned a pardon. Yes, his wife donated, but it seems they at minimum paid salary to Republicans and probably more.

12. Forgot: Hillary might not have been apprised of these covert ops.
The covert actions Bill might have requested in order to effect negotiations.

Those acts might still be somewhat best left unsaid.

For, at least, that she was not told, she may honestly indicate not knowing. If it is better left quiet, you might recheck her exact wording.

10. I can't really say what she knew
or didn't know. But it wasn't a very convincing remark on her part.

I feel she is lying but I will probably never know for sure.

That issue (the pardons, another Clinton era scandals) really bother me and is one of the reasons I really can't support her.

11. Ask Scooter Libby, he was the one that represented Rich in his
quest for a pardon.
