Hillary "knows where a lot of her funding has come from, to be blunt," said Greg Valliere...
..."she's approachable" he said. See his commentary further down the page at the link below:

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT. THEY ADMIT she's been bought.

And Edwards cannot be -- and THAT is why they HATE him. They can't CONTROL him with their money - because he won't take it - that's why they hate him and are doing everything they can to keep him from being elected or heard.

And that's got EVERYTHING to do with why I support Edwards.

1. Absolutely. You don't take money from people you plan to fight,
and you don't fight people you've taken money from.

How is that NOT obvious?

2. I wish I knew why...
....folks can't see the connection. It's plain as day.

And if we want REAL CHANGE this is where it has to come from.

5. Most folks don't get it because they live in a world of fantasy.
The world of advertising and the world of entertainment presents the public with a continuous stream of unreality and many people will not, or cannot, differentiate between what is real and what is make-believe.

Since the reality is more unpleasant to them, they go into denial, and maintain the make-believe.

3. Precisely, this is the virus that is ever more rapidly killing our democracy
the fact that politicians become beholden to the corporate interests who butter their bread. No real reform can take place with this system, which is why people like Edwards push reforms. And why Edwards runs his campaign on donations from the people, rather than from big companies.

It's also why most of my Democrat friends and acquaintances will never vote for Hillary, at any point, because they know to whom she's beholden.

4. The couldn't buy Hart, so they smeared him in 87-88.
Hart never took a dime from a single PAC.

Aren't you glad the media wouldn't allow us to elect a President who would embarrass us, or lie to us?
:puke:

6. The M$M cashes in during the election cycle
They make money hand over fist from political ad revenue. They love the big spenders who get their money from corporations that supply them with ad revenue as well.

Until campaign spending is brought under control, the feeding frenzy will continue.

8. That is another part of the problem, besides that the moneyed candidates are bought...
...once they reach the Oval Office.

Corporate greed and control is behind all of it.

John Edwards is right.

11. go watch the "this Week" show from last week on ABC
He admitted to taking money from lobbyists and then said, but they won't be allowed in his white house once elected--those same people that gave him money. He even blushed at that point, obviously aware of his huge hypocrisy.
