Poll question: Duncan Hunter gets less media attention than John Edwards
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 12:47 AM by skipos
Many Kucinich supporters claim that MSM ignored Kucinich not because he has single digit support in the primaries, but because Big Business is afraid of him.
Now Edwards supporters claim that MSM ignores Edwards because Big Business is afraid of him.
I can honestly say I have seen Edwards on the television about 10 times more than Duncan Hunter.

Does MSM ignore Duncan Hunter because Big Business is afraid of him?

(This isn't a rip on Edwards. Though I think there is about 0% chance of it happening, I would be 100% happy if he was our nominee.)

5. Possibly

But DH really IS a marginal candidate. Less than one percentage point in Iowa. It's more logical for them to ignore him than Edwards.

7. He wants to end their "free" trade gravy train
Nothing gets a candidate ignored more quickly than bringing up our current trade policy.

The fact that Hunter's about to go to jail for his Abramoff shenanigans might have something to do with it too.

8. Edwards was close to Obama in the polls yet JDNE in the msm early in 2007. Why?
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 04:17 AM by jackson_dem
And both were well behind Hillary. Obama was selected by the msm to be the designated backup quarterback...Eventually the media made it a self-fulfilling prophecy and we are were we are now because of it with Edwards way behind.

Why did the msm not select two Republican candidates? The msm has no problem with Giuliani, Thompson, Huckabee, McCain, and Romney all being viable. Huckabee was ignored early but there were always at least four big Republican contenders in the eyes of the mainstream media. The same media who winnowed the Democratic race to two the second Obama jumped into the ring...
