Kerry's Tongue Problem
I know this is petty. But it drives me crazy when Kerry speaks. If you notice, he sticks his tongue out in the middle of his speaking to streach it out. Sometimes in the middle of a word. I first noticed in an interview a while back this annoying habit. Then he did it like three times in the Iowa victory speech. He did much better during the debate. But I think it can hurt Kerry in a one on one debate with Bush.

Has anyone else noticed this habit, or is it just me that notices this sorta petty stuff?

2. Yes, it is distracting
He seemed to do it less tonight. Could be the conversational style of the debate. They all have something, though. Edwards flicks his tongue out, too. Clark didn't blink enough. Just stuff.

YES, IT IS REVOLTING

I watched one of those how-to programs on cable awhile back. It was one on how to date. One of the icky problems the hosts brought up for this poor guy was that HE KEPT STICKING HIS TONGUE OUT while on a date. LOL
It's kinda lizzardy isn't it. lol

10. Dean blinked to often...
bush looks like he was hit by a bush and makes monkey faces.
Kerry sticks his tongue out (i think he's licking his lips?).
Edwards makes pouty faces and stick out his bottom lip and closes his eyes too much.
Sharpton's perm is distracting.
Kucinich frowns too much.....
....
.....

3. It's nothing like the "Huhhh Huhh's ahh Huhh's," by the Chimp.
When the Chimp can't remember his Lies, he does the "Huhhh Huhh's ahh Huhh's."

8. Anyone looks good next to Bush in eyes
But others may not. It is just a concern. I want us to have every advantage we can get this election. I really want to win. I feel like the future of the country depends on it.

5. OMG this fits in with a very bizarre conspiracy theory by a British author
named David Icke. Too weird! I have a friend who likes to read Icke.
Wait until I point this out to him! ha ha ha

And then this freaky snake tongue comes all creeping out.

23. Never noticed
it. I am usually just listening and not really watching, I'll have to take notice next time. I can't see though that it can be nearly as bad as when the chimp tries to speak, that literally physically makes me ill. :puke:

24. No candidate is perfect
Clinton bit his lips. Gore had that weird eyebrow. Dukakis was short and sounded like a robot. Carter had that smile that looked phony at times. Etc.

26. I Could Never Vote For Someone That Sticks Out Their Tongue
I know that getting health care coverage for all Americans and replacing oil dependence with clean, renewable energy may seem important to some, but I cannot abide by someone - anyone - who licks their lips while delivering a speech. That's just who I am.

27. This is due to dry mouth. Edwards also does a funny thing with tongue
inside his mouth, as well as the thing Kerry does. Dean did an unusual thing with his tongue too--when he was particularly pleased with himself--kind of rolled it up and across inside his mouth.

So effing what? It matters not a whit. Do you have anything substantive--issuewise--to say about any of these candidates? If so, bring it on.

He needs to make an effort to stop doing it, it's distracting. I notice idiosyncratic things too.
