Is this man interested in dividing this country?
Let alone this party?

Think about it. Don't let yourselves be played like fools by the MSM and GOP.

Karl Rove is probably enjoying this forum with a big bag of popcorn.

1. Remember the other day, when someone was seriously suggesting...
...that Obama was trying to win the nomination because he KNOWS he has no chance of winning the GE, but is eager to acept a huge cash windfall from the Republican Party?

That's right, somebody was actually suggesting Obama is in it to LOSE.

:tinfoilhat::crazy:

2. Maybe not Obama himself, but the people working on his campaign sure are.
When I hear shit like "she didn't cry for Katrina"...

I just want to :nuke:

5. What does that have to do with race?
Edited on Sat Jan-12-08 11:27 PM by Occam Bandage
JJJ is saying, "Clinton cried here, but didn't cry for one of the greatest tragedies in recent American history, among others." He followed that up with, "Now we're going to SC, which has a large African-American population, and that population sees Obama as a figure of hope. Cynical politics won't play there." I don't see how that's calling Clinton racist in the slightest.

That was an incredibly stupid comment, but it didn't have anything to do with allegations of racism.

10. There were implications.
Considering the victims of Katrina in NO were disporportionately black.

Similarily, comments from the other side have also had implications.

But, let's not fight about that here. I'll not give Karl Rove the satisfaction.

11. Okay, okay. So there were "implications," even though you could just as easily read it to be fair.
Isn't that what you could say about any of the Clinton camp's comments? Why single out one side or the other?

14. The MSM is playing up these "implications"...
To the detriment of both campaigns, the Democratic party and our country.

And I am, quite frankly, done with it.

22. Both sides are at fault
And it will take "both" sides to stop it. This stuff is hurting the odds of getting a dem back in the whitehouse, and that's not good!

7. I thought that comment was stepping over the line.
FWIW. Can you admit that some comments coming from the other side (not from Bill or Hillary directly) have also possibly done so?

But, the bottom line is that:
1. The MSM is pressing this "issue"
2. Only they and the GOP stand to benefit from it.

where is this great uniter's voice now, and when will we hear him speak about racial tensions that are happening NOW?

"Sure, Obamafish has eaten lots of bugs and such before. But why won't he show us he can eat this worm we're dangling so nicely for him?"

let think about it. Are you kidding? All I've been reading on this board is how the AA community is wounded by the Clinton's words. I'd like to hear Sen. Obama himself, tell us how he feels about those words.

DU doesn't count for shit. The people wrangling over these comments here make up maybe two dozen people, myself included. Even most DUers think it's stupid, given the "OMG SHUT UP" comments that are starting to filter through.

Now.

Why would Obama want to entangle himself in a manufactured racial issue? Why would he want to present himself as an arbiter of what is "racist" and "not racist?" I agree with Obama: leave the racial activism to racial leaders. Obama is not a leader of blacks; he is a leader of Americans.

6. Voter Disenfranchisement is not acceptable
People can try to protect Hillary by blaming Rove if they want to, but you need a pretty big bucket of sand to bury your head in.

Plaguing this forum recently. I was speaking specifically of those issues.

I'm hoping that the lawsuit in Nevada is a big focus of the shows tomorrow morning.
