I am using my "Hide a thread" button on all "RACE" bait threads-Please Join Me.

I'm noticing that there are supporters of certain candidates here who are baiting with threads with words such as "RACE" or "RACIST" in them.

I personally will not tolerate my DU view to even have to look at these thread authored by desperate certain supporters who simply want to continue to fan the fire, as I guess it is their job.

Yes, I certainly agree with you that the voting supression IS the issue that needs to be addressed and stopped before it goes any further. Voting is a right that belongs to all citizens, not just those that can win someone an election. That's how we got to where we are .....in a fucked situation.

I thought this election was about bringing people out to vote.....not trying to discourage them!

I wasn't aware you could do this. I know you can ignore certain people but was just saying today I wish that there was a way I could hide posts with certain words in them to keep me from getting so angry.

I'd appreciate a quick overview of where I set this up - or a link to a help page about it if you know of one, if you don't mind.

and it is the button next to the recommend and alert button at the left bottom of the op screen. Hit it, and poof, it's gone like magic.
