Whenever I lose perspective, I remind myself
Edited on Sat Jan-12-08 02:51 PM by cali
that I will be so freakin' happy on January 20th when a dem president is sworn in- whether it's Obama or Clinton or Edwards.

And I'll be joyous at seeing bushco without any fucking power whatsoever, jeered by millions all around the world. In fact, friends and I have a huge stash of spectacular fireworks to set off that night in celebration.

I know not everyone on DU feels that way about all the dem candidates, but you gotta agree that seeing the end of bushco will be a splendid moment.

And yes, I'm convinced that a dem will be elected.

3. when i loose percpective
i remind myself that I have a finate lifespan on an almost infinite time line
I inhabit a very small amount of space in an almost infinite amount of space
that I will have a very small impact on most aspects of my life and so ultimatly the things that I affect will be small, the things that affect me will also mean very little, in fact in the grand scheme of things the human race will matter very little.

this gets me right back on track. (not really)

7. I have to agree with you, I'm looking forward to a Democratic
President in the White House. The mortgage kings are walking away with millions in compensation, and health insurance for life. Family's are losing their homes in the mist of record forclousures. I have to ask, who is it that scares the crap out of these criminals?

8. Yes.
I think we should all buy a bottle of champagne and raise a glass to consigning this evil regime to the dustbin of history. And history will be harsh to George W. Bush and his adminstration. He can hire a ghost writer to pen his worthless memoirs, which nobody will read.

A Democrat will be elected. It won't be a landslide, but it will happen. I'm convinced, also.
