Then when I became president I would tell all those lobbyists to fuck off and do the right thing. Don't you think thats how Robbin Hood would do it? Take from the rich and powerful and make it work for everyone? After all, they likely got all that money by fucking over the average American so its really not theirs anyway.

Of course then I would have to watch my back the rest of my life for steeling from our legalized Mafia.

1. If I were running for president I would take lobbyists money
"Then when I became president I would tell all those lobbyists to fuck off and do the right thing."

That would be great, so long as you went into the office expecting to only serve one term.

We really need to go to a publicly financed election system that completely bars any lobby money or gifts to office holders.

Thats the only way to solve this mess.

4. Yes, but that president would have to spend all 4 years redoing the election system.....
... so that the election system would no longer DEPEND on the money from corporate lobbyists and the rich. Cut those a-holes out of the election system. Right now they are voting a higher percentage than we are by virtue of the candidates not being able to run without their $.

3. OH GOD YES! ROFL!
It's be worth it even if it meant only one term (since in the U.S. those without corporate lobby money don't get elected by us).

5. Very noble of you
The first two priorities for any elected official are 1) Get elected....2) Get reelected.
Then there agenda follows. These politicians are not going to change a system that gets them elected.
The people have to change it.....period!
