My aunt had a dog kind of like yours. She was the best little dog I'd ever seen. She'd do all sorts of things. My aunt would tell her to get the clothes out of the drier and she'd jump in and grab something, then my aunt would tell her to shake it, and she'd shake like crazy. She'd get the mail from the door drop, put socks in the bottom drawer, all kinds of crazy things.

3/4 Chihuahua 1/4 Pug. He isn't quite as trained as your aunts. He does tricks and our secret word is "salami" ... whenever anyone says that magic word, he raises his ears and gets all excited, dancing around, and waiting for a snack. If we accidentally talk about making a salami sandwich, he goes nuts. Otherwise, he is a really good dog. He is listening to commands and isn't one of those yappers.

My daughter just says treat. With a 2 year old in the house, we have to make sure and say snack or something else so her dog won't go crazy too. Of course, he gets plenty of treats because he eats everything the 2 year old drops. He isn't a yapper either, it's nice to have a little dog that doesn't do that all the time.

My wife found a cop outfit, complete with cuffs and billy club. Leo likes to think of himself as the "rules enforcer" at the local dog park so it was perfect. He wore it with pride.
