17. I don't have a single favorite candidate.

I like all of our candidates. I do have some candidates that I prefer over others. Not sure if I'll actually tell you all which. We have found that our job, and the job of the moderators, tends to be easier if we leave some mystery on the more controversial issues. Which, for example, is why I have never expressed on DU whether or not I believe in God.

For the record, the lack of a thread about Edwards has nothing to do with whether or not he is among my preferred candidates. My threads about Obama and Clinton were not expressions of support for those candidates. They were about how their race and gender would play in the general election. Edwards has not received similar treatment because it would be kind of difficult for me to write a thread entitled, "If Edwards wins the Democratic nomination, I believe America is ready for a white protestant male president," without making it really sarcastic.
