i've been up way to long
so i'll leave the board with this.

i'm rooting for obama. i know it's a risk, but i believe what we might get is what we need so bad. someone who honestly wants to unite america. someone who shows the world america had turned a corner. someone who can engage young voters, and someone who i like and trust.

edwards is pretty close, and i'd love to vote for him as president.

but hillary has pulled too many dirty tricks trying to derail obama.
bring up kindergarten papers. sending out emails that say he's a muslum. having people say he might have sold coke. this is just dirty. i know that that's how the game is played, but i don't want that to be the case.

i've been a pessimist since 2000. let me have hope, for the first time since then. let me believe america will vote for a good man, and his opponents on the same team as him won't resort to baseless personal attacks.

let me hope.

1. Check out this hillarious video, comments on kindergarten papers by Edwards and Obama
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YScbSmIK06w

I hadn't seen that before, Obama cracked me up!

Good honest post btw. Its good to see Obama supporters acknowledge risk, because it shows awareness of his issues. The antedote for risk is alertness and commitment. The general rule is that the LESS beholden a candidate is to corporations, the more we will personal have to fight, sacrifice and commit of ourselves...Having our heads up our asses on the risks and costs of a strategy is a sure path to defeat.

2. Whoever gets the nomination, the general election race will bring much worse
The swift boat liars, or somebody like them are revving up their war machines now.
