Edwards answered the "tears" question most appropriately. A "grueling"
campaign is hard on all candidates and he wouldn't even entertain a question regarding a "Muskie" moment.

Quite unlike Jesse Jackson, Jr as seen on the local news in Chicago, wherein he stated that the emotional moment by HRC implied that she was cracking up. Very ungracioius - similar to Obama's moment the other night at the debate where he said she was only "alright" or some such lukewarm comment.

1. Must have been after Elizabeth got to him
His first reaction was:

""I think what we need in a commander-in-chief is strength and resolve, and presidential campaigns are tough business, but being president of the United States is also tough business,"

5. And that was a sexist comment. Very dismissive.

3. Todd Gitlin said Edwards's response made him ashamed to be a male
It was sexist. Period.

4. I don't get it - because he said it was a grueling campaign and left it at that?
