Scarborough is on his meds today.
Talking about how basically Clinton can't attack Obama because it reflects on her; also comparing Obama's movement to Robert Kennedy, and that attacking Obama was the beginning of Hillary's self-destruct.

3. Scarborough comes off as kind of bipolar.
Some days he's a rational, reasonable traditional-conservative commentator, who respects the participants and even takes shots at Bush. Others he's a stark raving mad arch-right-wing lunatic repeating some of the most ridiculous tripe you'll ever hear.

Interestingly, it seems he shares his sanity pills with Pat Buchanan: the times when Scarborough is rational are usually when Pat is off the deep end, and vice versa.

5. I definitely agree with that. I think it's just when he gets on certain subjects.
You can tell things are gonna get bad when Mika says something like, "Oh boy. Here we go..."

All in all, probably my favorite morning news show, though. Hell, it's the only one I'll even watch anymore.

4. He does that on a semi-regular basis.
He's most consistently reasonable when he's doing election coverage. Both personalities come out on his show, but he's more likely to be the nutcake.

8. conservative commentators are best
when they're discussing horseraces. It's when they get into issues that they become intolerable.

11. After Obama's Iowa victory speech Scarborough basically said
that was one of the best performances in American political history; how can the Democrats not nominate this guy?

I couldn't disagree.

10. Sometimes he steps into full analyzer mode
And when he does, he's pretty good. Unfortunately that only happens 2 or 3 times a year for 5 minutes at a time.

But Hillary can't attack anybody really because she's just not good at it. She needs to run a different kind of campaign.
