Sorry, but through her "tears," she managed to use two of Edwards' lines...
She said "It's personal to me," and "We need someone who's a fighter." :eyes:

1. For the country?
She also said she was crying for the country. Does she actually believe that she's the only one qualified to be president? A lot of candidates disagree with that sentiment.

4. Who knows anymore?
I'm sure they put their heads together and thought this would be a good strategy. Just like when she stole Obama's line of being fired up and ready to go.

15. Unfortunately, we have fallen so far back that we risk a serious head injury
from where our head hit the ground.
She had the opportunity to effect change as a Senator.
Perhaps she should have been as concerned about our fall backward when she was giving Georgie a blank check to wreak his havoc upon us.

seriously, have you never said "it's personal to me"? It's not exactly a patented phrase.

11. Saw that too!
For you consideration:

Hillary's new campaign slogan: I offer the least hope of anyone.

Clinton: Now with 75% less hope.

Hillary 2008: I am NOT from a place called Hope.

She's stolen Obama's line, too. I doubt it's a coincidence that she's suddenly fired up and ready to go, as well as suddenly it being personal to her...

Funny she started using these phrases only NOW, when she's falling behind.

35. I thought I heard Obama say it was personal for him
during the debate, so did he steal that from Edwards too? If you take out words like change, personal and fighter from politics there's not much left to work with.

39. It's personal for all of them,
and I always find it funny when someone tries to corner the market on words like those. It's not like ripping off an entire platform, or an entire verse of campaign slogans, it was a few well-worn political words.

45. Who cares?
I don't, you do, but I'll tell you something, Obama made a very classy statement about Clinton's emotional moment, and I think very highly of him for doing that. Edwards took the low road, which was exactly what I expected.

Even if you're right, and Clinton was insincere, Obama came off as a good guy by appearing sympathetic. Edwards came off as mean-spirited because Clinton could very well have been sincere.

Take it as far as you want to, but Obama did the right thing IMO.

(I'm as cynical as hell, but I still think it was an authentic moment)

she's not aware Edwards says those things and Obama says he's fired up and ready to go? It's amaziing how some people are able to justify some things.
