Osama bin Laden thimbing his nose at Aamerica six years after "He can run, but he can't hide" Bush ceased chasing him when he was safe in our good friend Pakistans arms.
Not an issue that will make the top three in a poll, but it is dangerous for just that reason, it lies just beneath the surface, like racism, like religion. It influences without being conspicuous. The issue should be addressed, and Democrats like or not should back any of their candidates who publicly avow that they will keep hunting the bastard no matter where he is. The American electorate will immediately feel more favorable to the first candidate who does so.
Another issue that none have addressed, the cleaning house in the FBI, of incompetence, with specific reference to anthrax being appropriate. This is another item that lies barely below the surface in even Bubbas brain. Obama wants the Bubba vote he better address those two things. ANy other candidate would do well to heed the same advice.
