Is Mitt Romney like Richard Gere in "Pretty Woman"?
He likes to say he's a "turn around artist" and points to Bain Capital as his main credential (aside from the Olympics) but just rudimentary look at Bain, seems to show nothing except rich people making high rate loans to struggling companies, or buying them out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bain_Capital

I can't see how he personally turned around any of the companies. Rich guys pooling their wealth to make more more money, doesn't seem like a turn around.

Bain takes credit for Staples, because they gave them the capital to expand. Bain had no hand in it, other than "investing" in the company and letting them expand.

I wonder (just started digging out of curiosity) if they've liquidated any of the turn arounds?

1. God I hope so
A "Mitt with hooker" story would be just what the doctor ordered to make the primaries more enjoyable.

3. Just don't touch the hair.
(CNN) – Republican Mitt Romney joked Thursday that his opponents are welcome to throw all they've got at him, but when it comes to his perfectly coiffed hair, they'd better back off.
