I went to Mass this morning, bless my heart, and as a good Irish
Catholic girl (in my heart and mind)I spoke to the Lord and his Mother in very strong terms. I promised to work very hard for my candidate, have no false gods before me and go to confession more often...Yeah, like I really need to go to confession, (I pray for the opportunity to sin)...
Anyhoo.....the Lord's Mother, Mary (a lovely woman who can relate to hardship and strife) said unto me.....Joseph is a fine man, I know of what I speaketh, I'll do what I can and send the word upward. So here goes, another Irish girl just doing her job..Can I hear an amen????

11. Which saint - to keep Cheney and friends from bombing Iran?
Which saint - to stop the money spiral down?

Tell us about St. Rita?

St. Rita is the patron saint of "the impossible," similar to St. Jude (hopeless causes).

(Not bad for a Methodist, huh :-) )

18. Yeah - my dad had a holy card of St. Jude on his mirror and he used to pray
to him every day to save my soul -- I'm serious.

6. Actually, St. Anthony would be the one to pray to for...are you ready???
Oh St. Anthony, please come around.....Something's been lost and needs to be found.

Now I dated this hot Italian guy many years ago and he swears that that was the true prayer. I figure we've lost most of our Rights and God knows what else, let's get St. Anthony in on the act also....Amen.

12. Hey, I will confess to saying that St. Anthony's prayer
when my Dad lost his glasses mowing a 9-acre field. They fell out of his pocket while he was on the tractor. I thought it certainly couldn't hurt. I was too young to drive and I was really afraid to drive home with him without them. What's cool is we did find them laying out in the open on top of some mowed weeds.

8. Bless me Father, for I have sinned, & I haven't been to confession in decades
although my wife did convince me to go to Midnight Christmas Mass a few years ago, so I'm not a total loss.

Anyhow, please don't take it out on me in the Primaries, eh

My preference is Clinton, Biden or no one. They're the only viable ones to protect our country. Those who PROMICE to have all our troops out of Iraq in short time are stupid or just plain politicians. The military say it will take a long while to get our troops and supplies...like tanks out of there safely. I'd rather go slowly, orderly and safely rather than fast, dangerous, deadly and chaotic. Hillary and Biden have the know how of how to do it properly. The others are just pandering to the anti-war vote.

15. As a non-believer....
I see Biden as a good man, in spite of his religion.

I want him to win so bad, and am depressed looking at the polls and seeing he has little chance. Am pulling for Edwards if Biden doesn't come through.

No Hillary for me - she's the polar opposite of Edwards and unlike Biden as well.
